Flowers by Mother Nature Delivery Services
The city of Thousand Oaks is the center of the Conejo Valley. Thus, we elect to offer a 50% discount for Standard Delivery service to the city. The discount is $ 7.99 off the usual $15.99 Standard Delivery rate. Standard Deliveries are delivered 3 to 4 days after order has been placed with us. We can offer you half the usual going rate for floral and plants deliveries because we don’t outsource deliveries to other 3rd party companies, such as Uber or Lyft. We work hard to save you as much money as circumstances permits.
We also offer delivery service to neighboring cities such as Newbury Park, Westlake Village and parts of Agoura Hills. The Standard Delivery rate for those cities are $15.99, $17.99 and $19.99 respectively.
We offer next business day delivery for an additional charge of $20.00. That is on top of the Standard Delivery pricing. Expect your delivery on the next business day. If your order was placed a Friday, then expect delivery on the upcoming Monday.
For deliveries outside the aforementioned cities, we offer to transfer your order to our florist partners. Keep in mind we have no control over our florist partners. Thus, delivery fees and quality assurance is up to each florist partner. We can not be held accountable, though quality and value usually is good to excellent and is guaranteed. The fee for transferring your order is $17.
It's our humble opinion that if you find a local florist yourself, you can save money (around $17). We do not recommend using large wire service companies or floral networks like FTD, Teleflora, Bloomnet, Bloom Nation, or Flower shop Network. These membership delivery services, or "order gatherers" as they are often called, don't prioritize your best interest. They essentially take your order and then forward it to an actual local florist in the destination town and they charge a hefty commission in so doing. Leaving the local florist with a smaller profit. Wire companies or order gatherers advertise local delivery, but in reality, they simply act as intermediaries, short-changing the real local florists who pay a significant commission for the orders received. These traditional methods are slowly fading, impacting local florists significantly because the wire services spend enormous sums on advertising, ultimately hurting the local businesses the most.
