My Mission

I am on a mission to change the way people think about flowers. In today’s world, there are so many complexities, and we are facing inflation. I want to change people’s view that it is important to take it easy and enjoy life with flowers. I aimed to make it so that every person at my website can find that perfect bouquet of flowers at a cost that won’t break the bank.

My Vision

To help people realize that sharing and having flowers is vital and is one of the key ingredients for being happy, joyful and fulfilled with life.

My Life’s Journey

My mother, Susana, gave birth to me in November 1963. I was her and my father’s first child together. Much later in life, I came to believe in pre-existence. While I don’t remember my life before birth, I have a strong hunch—almost a prompting—that I resisted coming down to Earth. In fact, I believe that my birth itself reflects this struggle, as I was born feet first, making labor difficult for my mother. I don’t believe in coincidences, and I feel this was a sign of my reluctance to begin my earthly journey.

A Life in Flowers and Business

My journey with flowers and business began in the early 1970s, growing up in a family deeply rooted in the floral industry. My father and grandparents on his side were florists, and it was no surprise that I inherited the same passion for flowers. My father first took over his parents’ flower shop, and later, he and my mother opened a second store in Palos Verdes, California. Though we eventually sold that store due to the challenges of managing it from a distance, my love for flowers never faded.

A Second Passion: Technology

As life unfolded, I pursued a second passion—technology. In 1981, I enrolled at DeVry Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, to study computer science, earning a bachelor’s degree with a minor in business. DeVry provided an excellent education that equipped me with valuable skills and shaped my future, though I soon realized my heart remained in the floral world. After graduation, I returned to California, where my parents and I opened another flower shop in Thousand Oaks. However, I faced mental health challenges that made managing the store difficult. Eventually, we sold the business, but I never gave up on my dreams.

Overcoming Challenges

Today, I live with mental illness, but with proper medication and care, I have learned to manage it so that it no longer controls my life. No matter the circumstances, I believe perseverance is key. In the face of inflation and global challenges, I remain committed to offering beautiful floral arrangements at the best possible prices, creating a bit of beauty in a world that often feels upside down.

Merging Passion and Technology

I also found a way to combine my love of flowers and technology by designing a website. I poured my heart into it, and I invite you to visit and see the love that went into every detail. It’s more than just a website—it’s a testament to my journey, my passion for flowers, and my dedication to creating something beautiful for others to see. When you have the chance, I encourage you to explore FlowersbyMotherNature.com.

Faith and Family

Through all my experiences, I’ve been incredibly blessed with a loving family and a strong spiritual foundation. As a born-again Christian with Sephardic Jewish roots, I find strength and joy in my faith. I dedicate this website to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, as well as to my beautiful, deceased parents. If it weren’t for them, this website would not have been possible. I also include my friends and family members in this dedication, as they have all been part of my journey.

The Hard Path is the Best Path

Through my readings and life experiences, I have come to believe that life is meant to be uncomfortable. Choosing the hard way is the only true path to mastering anything and learning the best lessons. Struggles shape us, refine us, and ultimately make us stronger.

My Spiritual Journey

I have wrestled with religion for most of my life, seeking the most correct path. Over time, I realized that no religion is perfect. However, I found that Mormonism aligns most closely with my beliefs. I strive to honor the top two commandments:

  1. Love God with all your soul, mind, and heart.
  2. Love others as you love yourself.

It brings me joy to say that I am a Mormon by religion. I firmly believe that through faith, perseverance, and love, anything is possible.

Moderation in All Things

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned over the years is that even good things should be enjoyed in moderation. For example, our bodies require nourishment, but overeating can lead to sickness. Similarly, working hard in the office is necessary, but spending too much time at work can cause neglect in other aspects of life—especially family. Sadly, I have seen firsthand how this imbalance can affect loved ones.

Words of Encouragement

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my story with you. No matter where you are in life, I encourage you to keep going. As Judge Judy once said:
“If you didn’t make it in your 20s, try again in your 30s. And if you didn’t make it in your 30s, try in your 40s… 50s, and so forth.”

Life is a journey, and there’s always another chance to try, create, and succeed.

The Reality of My Business Dreams

While I possess the desire and talent to succeed in the floral industry, I recognize that financial resources are essential. Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary capital at this time, and for that reason, Flowers by Mother Nature remains a fictitious business. However, this website showcases a small glimpse of my talents and abilities, and I trust that through God’s grace, my dreams will one day become a reality.

A New Calling?

As I reflect on my life’s journey, I realize that my interests may extend beyond the floral world. It has only recently struck me—at the age of 62—that I have a desire to become President. I don’t yet know how to get there, and I know it won’t be easy. But I feel that the Lord may be leading me in a new direction—perhaps toward greener pastures.

Spiritual Revelations

When one is in tune with the Lord, one can receive the Holy Spirit and revelations. I have been blessed with numerous revelations and encounters. One such revelation is that the economic downturn we are witnessing is no coincidence. I strongly feel—and the Holy Spirit has confirmed to me—that unless we, as a people, return to the gospel, seek truth, and apply knowledge correctly, we will continue to experience hardships.

And it was no coincidence that Mr. Trump won the election.  I knew by the Holy Spirit that he would of won months before the election.  Please don’t get me wrong, I am not explaining or saying this to necessarily boost my ego.  I believe G-d is using him for our good and our bad.  He won because of these facts and opinions of mine that follow:

He wants to bring Bible study back to public schools.  He wants to bring back that their are only two sexes.  A man and a woman.  These are fundamentals that “the people” are not finding easy to grasp and need a reminder.

All that I have left to say about politics is if everyone just follow the Holy Scriptures, seek the truth and apply the knowledge gained then everything will be “Jim Dandy”.

Final Thoughts

To conclude, I leave you with a revised version of Hillary Clinton’s quote:
“We are all in this together, and together we can accomplish great things for both the haves and the have-nots.”

I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ.

Forever, Amen.
